As Maintenance Technician you must obtain and maintain current NSPF and county CPO certifications as applicable for each county serviced. Duties of each Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to:
Operate a daily pool route (Service the same route daily/weekly/monthly)
Check and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Check and maintain the color, chemistry, and clarity of pool water at each pool on your route and treat as applicable.
Complete the maintenance checklist for each property as required
Daily cleaning of the pool deck at each pool on your route
Daily cleaning of the restroom at each commercial pool on your route or as applicable
Perform Maintenance as applicable (minor repairs, filter cleaning, sand/filter media replacement, salt cell cleanings, etc)
Develop and maintain a relationship with homeowners, board and / members of each pool.
This position requires the ability to operate a tablet or smartphone, lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work outdoors for lengths of time. Candidate must be certified or be willing to get CPO certification. Certification class will be provided by Southern Pool Services. Candidate must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
